Hockey Night in Canada co-host Ron MacLean on Sunday apologized for his Matt Skura Men Jersey part in broadcast partner Don Cherry's anti-immigrant comments made on Saturday night's broadcast.
MacLean, 58,hosted Hometown Hockey in Welland, Ont. on Sunday andopened the night's broadcast with a statement about Cherry's rant.

"Don Cherry made remarks which were hurtful, discriminatory, which were flat out wrong," MacLean said on the air."We at Sportsnet have apologized. It certainly doesn't stand for Joe Greene Women Jersey what Sportsnet or Rogers [Communications] represents. We know diversity is the strength of the country. We see it in travels with our show and with Hockey Night in Allen Hurns Women Jersey Canada. I owe you an apology, too:that's the big thing I want to emphasize.I sat there, did not catch it, did not respond."
The NHL, Sportsnet and Hockey Canadaall released statements Sunday similarly calling Cherry's commentsoffensive. Sidney Jones Men Jersey Cherry, for his part, has not made a public statement since Saturday's broadcast.
