Bears Pro Bowl receiver Allen Robinson p

Had reached the open market earlier this offseason, the receiver was set to be looked at as the top player available at his position and in line for a lucrative contract. However, Chicago blocked Robinson's ability to reach free agency after deploying the franchise tag on the Pro Bowler. While Robinson is set to make $17.98 million guaranteed off that tag for the upcoming season, a long-term extension with the Bears is well-deserved for a Cameron Payne Jersey receiver who has carried the offense for the past few seasons. However, there's only a limited amount of time remaining for Robinson to put pen to paper on a new deal as franchised players have until July 15 to come to terms on an extension. If no deal is reached at that point, Robinson would be locked in playing on that franchise tender. Phoenix Suns Hoodie To this point, Robinson sounds resigned to the fact that playing on the tag is his ultimate fate."I don't have any contract updates or nothing like that," Robinson said Wednesday, . "That's not in my control, if Aron Baynes Jersey I don't get a long-term deal . That being a po sibility of playing on the one-year franchise tag , then, I mean, that is what it is and I'm comfortable with that. Obviously, that's a po sibility. That's fine. It is what it is. As I said before, my main focus now is continuing to be better and get better." LAR WR #1 TAR151REC102REC YDs1250REC TD6FL0 Robinson was at Chicago's mandatory minicamp this week after skipping Charles Barkley Jersey out on the club's prior voluntary workouts. He also noted that he does plan to arrive on time for training camp later next month and doesn't have plans to hold out if an extension isn't reached prior to the July 15 deadline."At the end of the day, the offseason workouts are optional things, and Chris Paul Jersey I think I have a pretty good routine I've been working through and progre sing in certain areas at the pace that I want," said Robinson. The 27-year-old is entering his fourth season with the Bears. Throughout his tenure, Robinson has been the key piece to an offense that has largely struggled outside of his area of expertise. Over his first three seasons, Robinson has hauled in 255 pa ses for 3,151 yards and 17 touchdowns.

2022 NFL win totals best bets for AFC So

The AFC NBA San Antonio Spurs Jeresy South won't be mistaken for a super competitive division, but it did boast the No. 1 seed in the conference last year and sports another that some view as a dark horse Super Bowl team in 2022. With training camps opening up acro s the league and the regular season on the horizon, it's a perfect time to look at the win totals for each team and a se s if they'll exceed expectations or fall short. In Tenne see, the Titans shipped out and brought in pa s catchers and rookie for Ryan Tannehill to keep the offense moving. Meanwhile, the Colts upgraded at quarterback with Matt Ryan. As for the two bottom dwellers in the Jaguars and Texans, they are each entering the upcoming year with intriguing second-year quarterbacks in Trevor Lawrence and Davis Mills.Below, we'll dive into each AFC South team, highlight their win total odds and give our predictions.Win total projection: 9.5 (Over +120, Under -140)The biggest question surrounding Tenne see is what level of production they'll get from . Last year, the veteran quarterback seemed to regre s in his third season with the Titans and had more interceptions in 2021 than his previous two campaigns with the team combined. While the Titans were able to earn the No. 1 seed in the AFC with Tannehill under center last season, he was also their undoing in a Divisional Round lo s to the where he threw three interceptions. If Tannehill continues on this downward trajectory, that'll certainly muddy the waters for this win total prop and could even force a change under center with rookie quarterback now looming in the background.Even with Tannehill's status a major question, this schedule isn't for the faint of heart. That said, four divisional games against the and bake in four wins for Tenne see. If they can clean up against other inferior opponents like the in Week 1 and at Washington in Week 5, you're sitting at six wins. If you account for a split with Indy, you're at seven and now knocking on the door. However, the rest of their opponents will be difficult, particularly during the stretch between Week 9 and Week 13. During that run, they'll face the in Kansas City, the , the in Green Bay, the Bengals, and in Philly San Antonio Spurs T-Shirts . They likely won't be favored in either of those road games and could even find themselves home dogs if Denver lives up to the hype with and the Bengals continue to look like the team that went to the last year. If they go under .500 over that stretch, it'd be tough to see them with double-digit wins. The pick: Under 9.5 wins (-140) How far will Tenne see go this season? Win total projection: 9.5 (Over -150, Under +130)Yet again, the Colts have a new quarterback. This offseason, Indy decided to pull the plug on the experiment and found an upgrade by trading for former star . He should bring more stability under center, making the Colts the current betting favorite to win the division. Not Tony Parker Jersey only did the Colts bring in Ryan, but they helped add to a defense that already was inside the top-10 in DVOA last season by signing cornerback and trading for pa s-rusher .That improved roster is just one reason why the Over is a favorable bet here with Indy. They also have the third-easiest schedule in the based on projected win totals and the sixth-easiest based on their win percentage in 2021.The Colts have a soft landing spot to begin the year, facing the Texans and Jaguars on the road, but come home to face Kansas City. While facing teams like the Chiefs, Eagles, and isn't exactly a walk in the park, they do all come at home, which is a nice advantage for Indy. The pick: Over 9.5 wins (-150) How far will Indianapolis go this season? Win total projection: 4.5 (Over +100, Under -120)The Houston Texans currently have the lowest win total prop throughout the NFL. While Bruce Bowen Jersey a new head coach is running the show in Lovie Smith, they will be sticking with quarterback as he enters Year 2. If he can continue to take a leap after a promising rookie season, that could lead to Houston being more competitive on a weekly basis. While the Texans may be able to surprise folks at times next year, their road isn't easy as they have the fifth-hardest schedule based on their opponents' win total projections. Even some of their more winnable games next year are on the road: at in Week 3 and at Giants in Week 10. For Houston to see five more wins, they'd likely need to take care of those games, beat the at home in Week 11 and sweep the Jaguars in the division. Asking a team like the Texans to pull out three road wins just to get in the conversation of this total may be too big of an ask.The pick: Under 4.5 wins (-120) How far will Houston go this season? Win total projection: 6.5 (Over +105, Under -125)Going from the dumpster fire that was the Urban Meyer era to new head coach Doug Pederson will do wonders for the Jaguars. The turmoil and outside noise sparked by Meyer stunted the growth of the roster, particularly franchise quarterback . With a Super Bowl-winning coach now at the helm, it should be a more well-run operation in Jacksonville. That's also not mentioning the spending spree they just concluded in free agency and by bringing in defensive end and top pick along with linebacker in the first round. So, the roster and coaching staff should be much improved in 2022 along with general improvement by the players already in-house. Will all that translate to the Jags going over six wins this year? Well, they do have a fairly easy schedule in 2022. They Patty Mills Jersey own the 12th-easiest schedule in terms of opponent win total projections and the seventh-easiest when looking at their opponents' combined win percentage from 2021.For Jacksonville to realistically hit this over, they'd need to sweep the Texans, beat the Commanders in the opener on the road, beat the Giants at home in Week 7, and earn road wins against the (Week 13) and (Week 16). That would get them to six wins and then you'd have to bank on an upset somewhere else on the schedule or a split against either Tenne see or Indianapolis within the division. If Lawrence takes a leap in Year 2 and looks more like the generational quarterback he was billed as coming into the league, there's value in the Over at plus money. The pick: Over 6.5 wins (+105) How far will Jacksonville go this season?

During the show, Wilson and Will Brinson talked about the risers and fallers from the combine Kenny Wooten Jersey through the lens of Wilson's latest mock draft. One player who saw their stock skyrocket was Georgia defensive lineman Jordan Davis. Last week, Davis wasn't a first-rounder , but after an impre sive combine that included a 4.78 40-yard dash, Wilson now has Davis going 13th overall to the .One other player who saw their stock shoot up was Liberty QB Malik Willis. Wilson has the quarterback going in the top-10 this week. One player who saw his stock slightly fall was Notre Dame safety Kyle Hamilton. In last week's mock draft, Wilson had him going third overall, but now, Wilson has him going sixth overall. Aaron Rodgers lands record-setting contractThe four-time NFL MVP said that he'd make a decision about his future before the franchise tag deadline hit, and he managed to do it with just hours to spare.Rodgers has decided to return to Green Bay for an 18th season, and in return, the Packers have decided to reward him with the largest contract in NFL history based on average annual salary.Let's take a look at the quarterback's new contract and what it means for the Packers: The Packers are expected to give Rodgers . DeMarre Carroll Jersey According , that total includes $153 million in guaranteed money. With an average annual salary of $50 million per year, Rodgers will now become the highest-paid player in NFL history. The previous title belonged to , who is making $45 million per year under his current 10-year deal with the .The new contract means that Rodgers will almost certainly be finishing his career in Green Bay. If the four-year deal is truly a four-year deal -- and doesn't include any voidable years -- then it will keep Rodgers with the Packers until he's 42. Basically, this means that the Packers shouldn't have to deal with any offseason drama involving Rodgers going forward since he'll now be under contract. The new deal will create some serious salary cap space. Before the contract was agreed to, Rodgers had a cap hit of nearly $47 million in 2022. That cap hit has now been reduced because the Packers can push some of it into future years. Although it's not clear how much lower his cap hit will be in 2022, there's enough room that the Packers are .The one interesting thing about the contract is that it means the Packers are basically giving up on . His rookie deal only runs through the 2023 season and there's almost no way the Packers will be picking up his fifth-year option for the 2024 season because Rodgers will presumably still be the team's starting QB. Basically, the new deal for Rodgers means that Love is now expendable. It won't be surprising if he gets traded. It's worth noting that Rodgers posted on social media that while he will be back with the Packers, the reported terms of his deal are inaccurate. Hey everyone, just wanted to clear Eric Gordon Jersey some things up; YES I will be playing with the next year, however, reports about me signing a contract are inaccurate, as are the supposed terms of the contract I signed. Im very excited to be back Aaron Rodgers (@AaronRodgers12) The crazy thing about all of this is that if the Packers had never drafted Love, they likely would have never been in this situation with Rodgers. The four-time MVP was clearly unhappy after the team drafted his replacement and he definitely held that against the front office last offseason. In the end, the Packers had to pay Rodgers a boatload of money to appease him for that pick and that pick is now likely going to waste. If the Packers end up getting at least one win out of all this, then it will have been worth it. But if they don't, they basically mortgaged their future and made Rodgers mad about the Love pick for nothing. 3. Franchise tag deadline is todayThe franchise tag window has now been open for two weeks, but it will be closing at 4 p.m. ET today, which means any team hoping to tag a player only has a few hours left to make that Yao Ming Jersey decision. If a team uses a tag on a player, the two sides will have until July 15 to work out a long-term contract. If a long-term deal can't be hammered out, then the player will go into the 2022 season on a one-year deal that pays them at the franchise tag number for their position. Here's a look at the players who have been tagged so far, along with their one-year franchise tag salary for 2022: Chiefs: OT ($16.66 million) : S III ($12.91 million)Browns: TE ($10.93 million) : TE ($10.93 million) : TE ($10.93 million)There have been a lot of tight ends tagged so far and that's likely because of the low price of tagging a tight end. You could argue that someone like Gesicki is a bargain at $10.93 million and Gesicki might also argue that, because there's a chance we could see him file a grievance. Of the 784 snaps Gesicki played for the Dolphins last season, only . Gesicki could argue that he deserves to be tagged as a receiver, which would entitle him to a 2022 salary of $18.42 million. As we get closer to 4 p.m. ET, there should be a few

If a long-term deal can’t be hammered out, then the player will go into the 2022 season on a one-year deal that pays them at the franchise tag number for their position. Here’s a look at the players who have been tagged so far, along with their one-year franchise tag salary for 2022: Chiefs: OT ($16.66 million) : S III ($12.91 million)Browns: TE ($10.93 million) : TE ($10.93 million) : TE ($10.93 million)There have been a lot of tight ends tagged so far and that’s likely because of the low price of tagging a tight end. You could argue that someone like Gesicki is a bargain at $10.93 million and Gesicki might also argue that, because there’s a chance we could see him file a grievance. Of the 784 snaps Gesicki played for the Dolphins last season, only . Gesicki could argue that he deserves to be tagged as a receiver, which would entitle him to a 2022 salary of $18.42 million. As we get closer to 4 p.m. ET, there should be a few…

Ranking the top 10 NFL kickers and top 1

Over the past few weeks here at CBSSports.com, we've been putting out our annual top-10 ranking for each position group in the NFL. From to to to , we've been ranking everyone, and as we do every year, we've saved the best for last: Punters and kickers. At least, I think that's why we saved this one for last. No one was really clear about it, so I'm just going to a sume this is a cla sic "save the best for last" scenario.Ranking kickers is pretty easy -- at least at the top -- because you just put at No. 1 and then go from there (Although Tucker's grip on the top spot isn't as firm as it used to be).In the punting department, some fans might not even be able to name 10 punters, but we're ranking 10 because punters are people, too. I mean, who can forget the time that a punter won the NFL's award for Clutch Performance Play of the Year back Jae'Sean Tate Jersey in 2019 and he won it by throwing a pa s to a KICKER. The Clutch Performance Play of the Year goes toTHIS PUNTER TO KICKER TOUCHDOWN. : | Tonight at 8PM ET on FOX NFL (@NFL) Alright, let's get to the rankings.Carlson was originally drafted by the in 2018 and they're probably kicking themselves right now for letting him go. The Raiders kicker has been in the NFL for three seasons and he's gotten better every year, including last season, when he drilled 94.3% of his field goals, which ranked sixth in the NFL. Not only was he accurate, but he also showed off his range as he was one of just four kickers in the NFL who attempted four or more field goals from beyond 50 yards and made all of them. CLUTCH.Daniel Carlson hits the 54-yard FG to put the ahead by 10. : on ESPN: NFL app // Yahoo Sports app: NFL (@NFL) Carlson scored 144 points in 2020, which was tied for the most in the NFL.The Raiders like Carlson so much that they gave the restricted free agent a second-round tender, which is a high tender for a kicker (The tender means a team would have had to give the Raiders a Clyde Drexler Jersey second-round pick to steal Carlson away this offseason). Thanks to the tender, Carlson will make $3.38 million in 2021.After only playing eight games with the Falcons in 2019, Koo returned in 2020 and made his case to be the team's long-term kicker and he made a pretty solid case. Not only did Koo make more field goals (37) than any other kicker in 2020, but he also finished with the sixth-highest accuracy rate (94.9%). Koo was deadly from long range, hitting 8-of-8 from 50 yards or more, making him the only kicker in the NFL who attempted five or more kicks from 50 yards or longer while hitting 100% of them. Falcons retake the lead on a 52-yard FG from YoungHoe Koo. : on FOX: NFL app // Yahoo Sports app: NFL (@NFL) Koo finished the year with 144 points scored, which was tied with Daniel Carlson and for the most in the NFL.Although Lutz struggled a little bit last year, he has a long track record of succe s in the NFL, which is why he made the top-10 even though he ranked just 21st in overall accuracy last season. When you look at his career, Lutz has been consistently good. In 2018 and 2019, Lutz ranked in the top-seven in accuracy, including 2019, when he hit 88.9% of his field goals, which ranked seventh overall (He ranked sixth in 2018). When Lutz catches fire, he gets in a groove that few other kickers can match. At one point in 2018, he hit 26 straight field goals, which set a Saints franchise record. Although Lutz had a down year in 2020, he did prove that he can still hit clutch kicks and one of his biggest came in Week 8 when he hit a game-winner against the . Wil Lutz wins it in OT for the ! NFL (@NFL) Lutz also hit 98.3% of his extras points in 2020 (57 of 58), which was the third-most accurate in the NFL. After struggling during a 2019 season where he hit just 76.7% of his field goals, Sanders bounced back in 2020 and finished the year as one of the NFL's best kickers. For one, he was one of only two kickers to hit 100% of his extra points last season ( was Rick Barry Jersey the other one). The fourth-year kicker also finished the season with a 92.3% conversion rate on field goals, which is the best mark in Dolphins' history. Sanders also hit eight field goals of 50 or more yards, which was tied for the most in the NFL.The Dolphins like Sanders so much that they this offseason, which made him the highest-paid kicker in the NFL. Myers might not be ranked at the top of his list, but he was arguably the best kicker in the NFL last year. For one, he made EVERY SINGLE FIELD GOAL HE ATTEMPTED (24 of 24), which makes him one of only three kickers in NFL history to attempt 20 or more field goals in a season and make all of them (Mike Vanderjagt and Gary Anderson are the others). Sanders was also the ONLY kicker in the NFL last season who hit a field goal of 60 yards or more. WOW.Jason Myers just nails this FG from SIXTY ONE YARDS for the !(via ) FOX Sports: NFL (@NFLonFOX) If Sanders does have one weakne s, it's kicking extra points. His career conversion rate is under 90%, which is why he's not higher on this list.Like a delicious Wisconsin cheddar cheese, Mason Crosby has only gotten better with age (Cheese gets better with age right? Because if not, I might have to rethink that analogy). Some players get worse as they get older, but not Crosby, who had a career year in 2020. The 36-year-old kicker went a perfect 16 of 16 on field goals, making him one of just five kickers in NFL history Ralph Sampson Jersey to hit 100% of their field goals in a season where they attempted 15 or more kicks. At one point during the season, Crosby hit a 57-yarder, which was the 10th longest field goal that any kicker made all year (The clip below says the kick was 58, but it was actually John Wall Jersey 57). Mason Crosby drills a 58-yard FG to put the up 10. : on FOX: NFL app // Yahoo Sports app: NFL (@NFL) Thanks to his perfect performance in 2020, Crosby has now hit 90% or more of his field goals in two straight seasons (Before 2019, Crosby had never hit the 90% mark in his career). The amazing thing about Crosby is that he's doing all this while playing in Green Bay, which isn't an easy place to kick due to the weather and the natural gra s field.Lambo must love kicking in Jacksonville, because he's made almost every kick he's attempted since signing with the team in 2017. During his three years in Jacksonville, Lambo has hit 95% of his field goals, including a perfect 5-for-5 in 2020. The only reason Lambo isn't higher on this list is because he's coming off an injury-filled season where he was limited to just four games. Lambo was dealing with several lower-body injuries and it's not always easy to recover from those. If Lambo does come back healthy, there's a good chance he'll creep up this list in the future, especially because he almost never mi ses During his six seasons in the NFL, Lambo has hit 88.9% of his field goals, which makes him the third-most accurate kicker in NFL history.Back in 2018, nearly e
